Located in historic Midland, at the eastern gateway to Perth and at the junction of the Swan Valley and Perth Hills communities, Midland Nursing Home has a proud tradition as a specialist provider of residential high care for the aged since 1972.

We are a privately owned independent and stand alone organisation, with the full range of services on site. We cater for all individuals and backgrounds, with standard service, secure dementia and extra services places. We also offer dedicated respite places which can be booked in advance.

The Midland Nursing Home facility is surrounded by landscaped gardens and grounds. Each wing has single or double rooms, most with ensuites, and spacious communal lounges and dining areas, all designed for maximum comfort, care and safety. We have our own kitchen, under a professional Chef, as well as our own cleaning and laundry services.

All our facilities are for people needing residential care – seniors who can no longer manage in their own homes, even with community support services. We provide nursing and personal care support 24 hours a day to help with the activities of daily living and the symptoms of age-related diseases. We specialise in high level care, with staff trained in dementia, behaviour management and the palliative approach. We are happy to take bookings for high level respite care for those needing a break from caring for their loved ones at home.

Quality of life is especially important. Our dedicated team of staff, with qualified nurses and carers will seek to get to know you as a person, to best enable them to provide the best support and care for you. We offer comprehensive activity programs which are delivered by our therapy assistants to help you with lifestyle choices. These include high teas, weekly happy hour, seasonal barbeques and a variety of group activities, as well arranging visits to and from family, friends and your community contacts.
